Originally ordered the medium for my 44lb collie/beagle cross, as per the measurement guide but it was too large and long for my dog. So I took a chance and ordered the small and it fits her perfectly. A little snug, but not tight, which is perfect for providing support for her knee joint (stifle), while she rehabs from a torn CCL. The brace is made very well and is sturdy. My dog seems to find the brace comfortable and has no problem wearing it all day. When I initiated the return on the larger size, the seller contacted me interested in my dogs measurements to better help customers fit their dogs in the future which impressed me greatly. They were also very prompt with shipping which is fantastic. Faster than advertised, which considering I'm on the other side of the USA is especially impressive. I wanted something as fast as possible to give my dog support and I couldn't be more pleased with either the fit or the speed of service. There was also no problem in returning the larger size.
