I'm disabled so I have time to read. A LOT. As a result, over the past ten years I've read thousands of books, and among them I've read over 400 different books within the zombie and post-apocalyptic book genres. Some of these books and book series' were good, some were bad, some were... very bad, but this series was one of the best. Top ten at least, if not top five. Originally I read these on Kindle Unlimited, which I no longer have, so I was excited when I saw this entire box set for less than a dollar. I snapped it up immediately because this is one I'm going to re-read every few years. It is not a conventional zombie book since the author attempted to make a more plausible zombie-apocalypse-like scenario than you usually see. It makes for a different twist on the genre, but I liked the change of pace. He also does a very good job of getting you to root for the protagonist. This one is definitely worth the time, effort and expense to obtain and to read. Don't add this one to your wish list, just buy it now, in case the price goes up.
