Great planner. Finally found one that will work for me
Okie dokie guys. Truth time: I am a planner addict. But I’m a weird one. I really only like and can function well with a monthly planner. I like the idea of a weekly one and love seeing everyone’s social media posts about there colorful journal entries and page setups, but it confuses me. When I first saw the Panda Planner, I was initially intrigued by the background story of how the planner came to be. The Panda Planner was created by a once-struggling entrepreneur who was riddled by Traumatic Brain Injruy (TBI) and Lyme Disease. And because of those health issues, the planner helps it’s users to not only keep track of your day to day ins and outs, but it helps you to refocus on what’s really important. Sure, you must get to your meetings on time, arrive to doctor’s appointments a few minutes ahead of time and please don’t forget a birthday or an anniversary, but that is not what life is all about. This planner uniquely combines a planner with a journal and I love it.
The front portion is the monthly review. Completely undated it allows the writer to dictate where to start. There is a monthly calendar for each month and along the borders, it has places to write notes, your goals for the month, an area to write what success is measured by, this month’s wins and how you will improve. Love!
The second portion is your weekly review. Again, it’s undated so you choose when to start, skip or end. The weekly portion is set up unlike anything I have seen before in a planner. On one page, there is a section for you to comment about your review of last week to include big wins and how to improve and a section for planning the upcoming week to include things you will do to make this week great, things you are looking forward to, habits you are focusing on developing, education/mastery and affirmation. The second page for the same week has an area to note your projects and to list top goals for this week. Love Love!!
The third and final section is the daily planner. Each day you are afforded the opportunity to write down what you are grateful for and to say today will be great because…
There is an area for your daily affirmation, focus, exercise and today’s priorities. The second page for each day has a place for your schedule, tasks (with check mark boxes…..happy dance), notes, and an end of day review allowing you to focus on the day’s wins and how you will improve. Love Love Love!!!
As you may have noticed the planner is being offered as a 2 for 1 deal due to a printing error leaving the pages fairly thin. I am not bothered by the thin pages, as I typically use a ballpoint pen to write in my planners. However, I do like to use color so, I think for now, I will have to forgo my highlighters and go buy washi tape and stickers….please do not tell my hubby. ;)
The panda planner will make a great gift for anyone this season. Everyone can benefit from a little organization and a little help finding balance in life. By writing things down, you make yourself accountable and by being accountable change will come.
Also fun.....a little pocket in the back of the book. Great place for my tapes and stickers. :)
