I purchased scented, but it is a light and clean fragrance - it has not bothered my allergies at all. I haven't used it to wash extremely dirty clothes, but it has done a great job for cleaning "normally" dirty clothing as well as my husbands fishing clothes while removing all the sweaty and fish odors. Perfect to throw in your suitcase for vacation, but I plan on continuing to use this for all of my laundry. Trying to do what I can to save the environment for our generations to come. Great product.
