I am 5'3" , 163 lb, and wear bra size 38D and purchased it size L. I started swimming laps at the pool to get in shape and hopefully also lose weight. I wanted a bathing suit that would make me feel less self conscious of my chubby parts and be somewhat flattering. I also want a bathing suit that will stay in place while I am swimming and that I am not needing to constantly adjust or be fiddling with the straps. This suit is fairly high up the back which I like because it covers more of my chubby back and also has less chance of sliding off my shoulders. I have not been swimming in it yet, so hopefully, it fits the bill. I am pleased with the fit. I also purchased a similar suit at the same time which has ruched sides and the straps cross in the back. I have a feeling that one will be the most flattering and comfortable until I can lose some weight, but I also do like this one. It is simple, classic and flattering without anything to get twisted or out of place. I always appreciate when people post pictures and their size and weight and am delighted when I find someone similar to my size, because then I can get an idea of what it would look like on me. Hopefully this will be of use to someone else who has a similar body size/type to mine.
