This clipper works great! :) It arrived with a charge and everything in the online picture. I used it on my long-haired cat. I was slightly nervous about clipping her myself but became more confident after reading some reviews and watching some do-it-yourself videos on YouTube. I didn't use any of the attachments--just the clipper itself and kept it on 0.8. It is important to remember to keep the skin taut in order to avoid nicking the skin and to also help give the coat a smoother look. Give the cat a break once in a while especially if he/she starts to become antsy. I put a can of wet food in front of my cat and was able to shave most of her with little to no problems. She doesn't like her belly being touched so near the end my boyfriend had to help hold her while I clipped her underside. When it was over, she was still irritated for a couple of minutes but she quickly got over it and wanted to cuddle with me again. She still looks cute (we gave her a lion cut) and she doesn't seem bothered at all by her lack of fur. :) I'm really, really happy I gave this a try. My boyfriend was skeptical at first but now he thinks it was a good idea to help with the shedding and the matts. I would definitely recommend this to other pet owners--just remember to be gentle with the pet you're grooming so that you don't end up hurting your little friend. :)
