Interesting goals
I've played several build your own town games over the years, but, I really like this one, because it doesn't so much focus on bulding your village, as it does growing your populace. Actually watching your villagers court, wed, and procreate, and then watching their children do the same is very interesting. There are only two major drawbacks in my opinion. First, the game relies heavily on the in-game currency (not surprising in a mobile game), unless you have a lot of Facebook friends. Also, as your village grows and advances technologically, you have to "unlock" new technologies/items which takes up a lot of wait time (usually between 12 hours and 3 days). And, you can only unlock 3 items at any given time. Finally, once you've unlocked the new technology/items, you then have to go through a quest to craft the technology/item. This usually entails gathering a quantity of 3 other items, and finally the crafting can take anywhere from 1 minute to 12+ hours. As a final (positive) note, I do like how each child in this game inherits abilities from their parents. These abilities range from Foraging, Fishing, Gathering, Mining and Hunting; so its imperative to choose the best villager to do the right job to best manage your wait time.
