You don't need to spend a fortune for top tier quality.
Just to qualify myself before you give any weight to the review I am about to offer: I consider myself as close to a consumer-level audiophile as one gets. As an individual without unlimited funds, getting the best for the least has been a goal for 35 years.
WHY I WAS SHOPPING FOR BT HEADPHONES:
When I discovered that it was difficult to find acceptable replacement braided headphone cables (at a reasonable price) I started looking for Bluetooth headphones to replace my wired set. After buying and returning several "well-known name brands" from a local electronics store, most at or above $100, I nearly gave up, thinking that they all were awful. Poor battery life, weak connections, or short-range, and the worst commonality was the low max volume. They all just sounded bad. More so, the most important feature for me was comfort. I need over the ear and able to be worn with my glasses. None of the ones I had tried satisfied my needs.
WHAT I DISCOVERED:
Then I found this Falwedi S6 at a remarkable price, on Amazon.com, ready to ship to me. I took a chance, having the standard American attitude about an unfamiliar brand that promises great features at a price lower than the 'name-brands' when they go on clearance.
Upon unboxing the S6 I was VERY pleasantly surprised by the build quality. The fit and finish was well above not only what I expected, but above any of the other headphones I had auditioned. The package comes with all you need to start using them. A 3.5mm headphone wire allows you to hardwire them when a BT connection isn't available, such as on older receivers and that sweet Walkman you still have. The included USB-C connector is brilliant. Not having to fight with up/down to get it in the charging port is very helpful, and the batteries charge very quickly thanks to the newer connection. Buttons are easy to find and use.
HOW DO THEY SOUND?
Well, in a word, great. All the volume I was missing from other headphones. All the dynamic range I was missing in other headphones. At this price point even having Active Noise Cancellation is amazing, and it works exactly as I needed it to - I sit in an office most days and the thrum of machines is completely canceled out by the S6 ANC. Another key feature is the latency. After several tests, I could detect no perceptible lag between source and these headphones. That makes these acceptable for video editing work if that's your usage need.
HOW DO THEY FIT/FEEL?
It's as if they made them for me personally. Super-soft ear cups that completely cover my ears and don't press hard against my TMJ. I have no trouble wearing these with my glasses on or for a long period - Maybe not the entire 48 hours they will play on a single charge, but certainly as long as I need to!
SUMMARY (TLDR;)
If you think like me, that spending $200-300 on headphones that look and feel cheaper than those gaming headphones you had with your Xbox 360 is dumb, then stop your search right here. I've already tried them all (Yes, even the expensive ones) and the truth they want to keep from you is this: You do NOT need to spend a fortune for good gear. I recommend the Falwedi S6 for comfort, sound quality, build quality, and battery longevity.
BUY THEM.
