My wife passed away in May of 2018 after almost 50 year together. I do a lot of work in the shop and in the yard and didn't want to wear a metal band but felt bad not wearing a wedding ring. This ring fits the bill, no worries about damaging the ring or my finger because of the ring. Seemed a bit tight at first but settled on my finger quickly. I also felt the black color represented the loss of my spouse.
