I bought this machine because I wanted some easy exercise in my home. I was told that I could loss weight with this machine. I said "Ya. Right." and I didn't expect that to happen. That is a sales pit you hear all the time. But after 4 months of using for 10 seconds only, once a day, and 30 seconds daily for another 3 months, I was surprised to see so much weight loss that my cloths were hanging off me. I had lose 40 pounds! In addition, my neuropathy in my feet was reduced 95%. This was unexpected too! Two years later when I had gaps of not using machine for a period of time, some of the neuropathy came back. So I started to using machine again to keep symptoms away. It even stopped some bladder leakage! It strengthened my pelvic floor! Now I know that I sound like a sales person and that all of this sounds too good to be true, but I'm sharing all of this at risk of embarrassment to me because I really want people to have relief. I don't know anyone who sells these machines and have no connections with Amazon except to buy things from them. Nothing I read prepared me for the positive results that I got! They probably knew that it sound too good to be true! You are probably wondering "why so little time on the machine." it's because the author of the "Whole Body Vibration Machine book suggested that you start slow, especially if you are a senior or have health problems. She warned that going too fast will cause uncomfortable symptoms that might discourage you from continuing your workout. It's because this machine actually work your muscles and detoxes the body. That in turn causes you to lose weight. Just one other thought. I believe, that is that these same results can be had with any of these machine. So choose the one that best fits your pocket book and needs. I have had no experience with the WBV machines that cost thousands of dollars. Me and my family have been happy with the ones that costs just a few hundreds of dollars. Hopes this review helps you! UPDATE: After months of using this model, I have concluded that it does not work as well as the first one I bought. I got rid of it because I was moving into a smaller apartment and I need a smaller unit. I'm so sorry I sold it. (It cost $250) This one does not have as great of health benefits for me and it has gotten louder as time pasts on. I assumed that all brands worked pretty much the same. I was wrong. I apologize to anyone who made decision based on my earlier review. All the benefits I got did happen, but with another bran.
