I waited months to review this because i wanted this brush to tackle ALL my worst hair nightmares. I’m pleased to say THIS IS MY MIRACLE BRUSH! So the picture with my hair all types of wild is the worst scenario my hair can get. I have a mix of 3c, 4a&b. Because i always keep my hair in a messy bun 5 days after a twistout, the buildup of product and not wrapping my hair at night begins to mat my hair at the roots and bulk in the back. Whats awful is because of massive overtime hours I have not been able to touch my hair in at least three weeks. So imagine for three weeks my hair is in a messy bun and maybe once a week I’ll apply water leaving just to smooth it back into a bun. So eventually my hair becomes this matted mess and ends up usually needing to be cut at the route at some point because I can’t get through all of the knots. Now When I took this brush I did my normal detangling routine in the shower with cold water running on my hair while I brush from end to root. While having my co-wash in and detangling with Aussies three minute miracle, the combo allowed all the knots to melt out of my head. No more cutting necessary! I then did my twists to prep my hair for passion twists which is that second picture at work. I’ve been wondering how this would work on a blowout and that’s the third photo with me holding the dead hair from untwisting and brushing my hair for the blow out. The brush is amazing, inexpensive (yes, I’m lookin at you felicia leather wood) and just perfect for wet and dry hair. It has just enough flexibility to not feel like those cheap knockoffs. You will LOVE this brush my naturals out there!
