I was very skeptical at fist because my 3 yr old Maltese would bark at anything that past our back yard even leaves it drove us crazy. I had to adjust the collar to the tightest setting and cut the excess and that was fine...so I put the bark collar on him and let him get use to it and as soon as he started barking he stopped and couldn’t figure out what was going on stopped barking and laid down. I tried to give him a stop barking command at the same time and took the collar off once he calmed down. Well after a few days if I just show him the collar he lays down and my verbal command is all I need to do. Very successful with this and it’s sooooo nice that he only barks when he supposed too.
