Reading through the reviews I noticed some things people mentioned that I do not find to be true. When I first got it I had to open the back (Velcro with a plastic tag thingy that just needed cut) and pull out the box to remove the tab like most battery operated devices. I stuck the box back in and positioned it how I wanted it and viola! I don’t find the song muffled at all if it’s put back in correctly. It’s easy to use just a small press on the belly and then another press if you want to turn it off before the song is over. You CAN replace the batteries.. it takes 2 button cell batteries. I love it and can’t wait for my niece to open it for Christmas! So cute!
