I personally think this is possibly the finest tea in the world. I grew up just outside of Harrogate and a pot of Yorkshire Gold on the tea tray was a part of daily life. My day still starts with a good strong mug of Yorkie Gold (with milk and sugar) and some buttered home-made-bread toast to dunk in it.The taste and smells of home in Yorkshire come all the way to Dallas, Texas when I take that first cautious sip of steaming-hot brew from the mug.When I have the occasional visit from our Vicar or someone else comes by from church I brew a pot with the loose tea; otherwise, when it's just me, I go ahead and use a tea-bag and it tastes just as lovely both ways. In this world of ours, one of bewildering and constant change, it is wonderful to know that some things remain the same.I think this delicious tea, a taste of home, is one of them.
