It's not the biggest sandbox in the world, but it would comfortably fit four toddlers if I needed it to fit four toddlers. My one toddler loads it up with toys and is happy as a clam. Honestly? I wouldn't really want it any bigger. Best. Kid. Purchase. Ever. I only needed two, 50 lb bags of clean play sand from Lowe's ($3.50ish each) to fill it with plenty of sand for play fun. The corner seats work beautifully. The lid is heavier than I expected, which is great because that means it stays on when placed there. I'm a tall, slender 129 lb woman and have no problems handling it. My almost-two-year-old son was so excited about this that he couldn't go to sleep last night. And this morning he grabbed my hand and asked for his "box" almost as soon as he woke up. We ate breakfast and came straight outside on this early summer morning to play. I'm currently on the porch with my coffee typing up a review. Life is good. Buy the box.
