Awesome value for a great product
This blender has transformed what people eat in this family. With 1000 watts of power - that's about 1.25 horsepower - it can tear most anything up. My kids don't particularly enjoy eating raw fruits or vegetables, but now that I'm grinding them up without any added ingredients except ice and water and making smoothies out of just about everything, they're eating much better. I killed my old 455 watt blender making hummus, which it wasn't designed to do. The Ninja easily puree's garbanzo beans and makes great hummus. Cleanup is a snap too. Just fill it with water, turn it on to remove all the big chunks, then quickly clean the rest in the sink. The two thinks my family likes best and we make on a daily basis are kale, pineapple, lemon and banana smoothies, and strawberry and banana smoothies. At less than $100 the Ninja is the best value out there.
