I don't live in an area where it snows too much, but will be moving to my grad school soon and it snows pretty heavy there. My measurements are 39-33-40, I purchased a L and I feel I could have bought a M as well (which will have a snug fitting), but I most probably will wear a thin sweater or thermal wears under so the extra room is good for me. The jacket is waterproof, so it's good for rain showers as well. I tried out this jacket when the temperature was subzero and I really felt the warmth it can hold, last week we had a cold spell and we had a little snow. The jacket is not heavy like the other wool/leather jacket, that's the most enticing feature here. I got a pink color and it looks very cute, in addition to that the cap-like addition on the hood makes it look very stylish.
