This is an extremely basic backpack, but it's also very sturdy and solid. I liked how well built that this backpack is. For example, the zippers are very high quality. On the main zip, there are two pull tabs, so you can zip it up from either direction and meet in the middle. The stitching is reinforced in all of the key places. This backpack should hold together for years. The material feels like canvas on the outside, and on the inside of the backpack, it feels like plastic. It is a pretty small backpack, but that also makes it a great choice for kids. The straps are also small and so they den't have much padding, but if you don't carry heavy super heavy stuff in the backpack, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. It's very attractive and basic, so I think you'll like it if that's what you're looking for in a backpack.
