After doing a ton of research, I bit the bullet and could not be happier! The ultra short throw is a game changer and makes home theater accessible for everyone. With UST, you skip the ceiling mounts and the headache of placing a projector in the middle of the room.  Just put it up against the wall with your other consoles and you are good to go.   The image quality is breathtaking. You can really see the 4K details pop on a large screen. I still have to play with the settings, but the out of box, it feels like you are in a theater. The laser is advertised to last 25000 hours which is basically forever. Only time will tell but I feel better knowing I’m not on borrowed time with a bulb that eventually needs replacement.  I didn’t care too much for the soundbar since I have my own 5.1 setup. Works great for a soundbar but it can never replace a true 5.1 surround sound system. Price: The VAVA is significantly lower than LG and Optoma. I was hesitant at first but the reviews online and youtube videos have been overwhelmingly positive. While UST projectors cost more than regular projectors, the price ends up being lower over time when you factor the time and money by avoiding ceiling mount, installation costs, and bulb replacements.
