What another great installment to this series. It is NOT the last, and I wouldn't want it to be. In this volume, we get to see the darker side to Sean. What he expects/needs from Avery to feel alive. I will say that that scene was intense. It was almost hard to read, but I wouldn't change it one bit. That scene was balanced with the happy side of Sean and Avery where they enjoy spending the day together having fun. Of course, in true Ward style, there is another cliffhanger ending that you will probably only 'get' if you have read Damaged. If you haven't read that book, I highly recommend it.
