UPDATE 2/2021: I reduced this one star. I ended up throwing this away even though I only used maybe 1/8 of it. It just was not as malleable as when I purchased it in 2017. My advice is to put it in a Ziplock bag when not in use otherwise it will dry up and be harder to apply especially on wiring. This is because the lid is just push on or pull off and stays in place via friction. ORIGINAL: I don't solder often but as I am into the R/C hobby there are times when I have to do some repair on the PCB of my R/C car or quadcopters. I heard about various fluxes you can buy that helps with the solder process. I'm sure I will experiment with different kinds but I initially bought this one because of the reviews. I have to say it makes soldering a lot less frustrating, particularly if you were not that good at soldering to begin with. I definitely recommend this to anyone who has not used flux before. PROS: -easy to apply in small amounts -solder flows smoothly -a small amount goes a long way, and for my purposes this will last a long time CONS: -leaves residue that may or may not need cleaning
