At first I was skeptical about a magnet holding my phone, especially since my phone is a Nexus 6P with a Spigen case, so it's a bit on the bigger side. I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised how well the mount works. Going over speedbumps, taking sharp turns have not been a problem. Having a magnetic mount is so convenient, too! Mounting and dismounting the phone only takes one hand and it's a breeze. What I really like about the new Koomas Pro CD-M is that it doesn't need to be mounted in the middle of the CD slot, I like to mount mine a little more to the left which is nice because on the older version the phone could only be mounted in the center only. Another thing I like about the newer version is that it doesn't stand out as much as the older version, the older version just felt so bulky. Overall, this is a great product and very stable even for bigger phones. I would definitely recommend this product. Just for reference I am using this product in a 2013 Acura TL using a Nexus 6P phone in a Spigen Rugged Armor case
