At first I was so unsatisfied and was almost ready to return these. I have had fruit flies buzzing around my sink and fruit basket for 2 weeks now and I needed a solution. I put a plant in the sink and placed one of these traps in the soil. After one day..NOTHING! But then my husband had the bright idea to put strawberry tops around the trap to attract the fruit flies. BAM! Problem solved. Day 2 - all the fruit flies are gone! Be advised that these do not ATTRACT the fruit flies And you must bait them to the very specific area. Once you do, the product works!
