I wanted to try a TENS unit for various back issues for which I was being treated by a chiropractor as well as physical therapy. Both practices recommended muscle stimulation and used them in their offices. I felt that using one in the comfort of my home would be beneficial to the healing process and for use after I performed home exercises. I did an on line search for recommended units, and the AUVON was recommended. It offered 20 different modes, provided multiple connectors and was at a very reasonable price (not to mention a generous warranty). Once I received the unit and tried it out, I was totally convinced I had made a good choice. I love the variety of stimulation modes and can decide what strength of stimulation is best, depending upon whether I am using it for tough muscles or more sensitive leg or arm areas. I look forward to the end of a long day when I can "hook up" and relax with this unit. WELL, here I go again! Purchasing unit #2.....this one for my husband who keeps using mine, so it's time for his own!!!
