I notice that many people are complaining about the number of pages the ink prints. I too had this problem at first. The solution was simple. I put the settings on draft which prints the same quality with less ink. Standard print eats a lot of ink and if you put it on best it definitely consumes ink really quick. I keep my printer set on draft and change it to standard only when doing special printing such as t-shirts, invitations or greeting cards. When the light comes on that means that you have at least 50 pages (sometimes more) that you can print before you run out of ink. I was able to put the cartridges I removed (because of the low ink light) back into the printer and got 50 or more pages out of them. Just glad I decided to try it before I threw the cartridges away.
