I got the product last night and immediately started to install it on my windows. Install was easy: clean window, measure and cut to size, don't forget to peel off the backing!....spray clean window with water and cling! I also bought the install kit that popped up (a small utility knife, spray bottle and a squeegee) which made it much easier to install. I installed this on my bedroom windows to prevent neighbors from seeing in, and on my daughter's windows upstairs so she can have more privacy while having the shades up. I also used the little bit of scraps I had left to put in a few other places that can block direct view into my house. if you are up close to the window, you may be slightly visible through the cling, and much more so when there is light from behind you. Otherwise, the farther away you are from the window, the more obscure your figure is to the outside world. The less light from behind you the better the privacy. I do recommend this product. **update** I bought a second roll to finish up the remaining windows I wanted to cover. same product, however I noticed that this film didn't stick as well as the first roll I ordered. I found this strange, so i'm chalking it up to perhaps me not cleaning the windows as well as the first batch I did. this film, due to the curve of the roll its in, slightly lifts off the edges of the windows, like it wants to re-roll into is previous shape. I've held down each corner with a small piece of tape, and that keeps it on just fine. other than that, still a great product to use if you want privacy!
