These sheets are wonderfully soft as 100% cotton sheets should be. I purchased these a few days ago, and I'm here to get another set. The sheets are a true 800 thread count, so they are very heavy for sheets. They do NOT have a "sateen" finish like some of the reviews have stated. These are also not "microfiber" sheets. These are real, old-fashioned, 100% cotton. You will get a nice, soft, crisp feel from these sheets like you do at a high end hotel. I have an thick, oversized, king mattress, and these sheets fit absolutely perfectly. These sheets are definitely worth the money. My one complaint is that the length of the flat sheet needs to be larger.
