Impressed so far...
***UPDATE 10/31/20... I still like the walker. Issue with seat others have mentioned. Seat snapped! Has a 300 lb weight limit and my 165 lb snapped the seat. Luckily my husband fixed it with some metal furniture brace thingies he bought for $6. (Picture added) Make sure to use short screws so they don’t stab your rear when seated.
***This is a safety issue Drive Medical needs to address!!!
It’s only day one so we’ll see how it holds up over time. So far I’m impressed! I bought this as a replacement to my Invacare Rollator as I needed something with a smaller footprint. This is serving that need perfectly as I am no longer limited to where I can go in our home because of a bulky too wide rollator. Assembly is minimal and easy. I am slightly disappointed with handle assembly as I find the push in height adjustment pins more convenient than this style where pin must be unscrewed and completely removed to adjust handle height. The handles sit at an awkward angle that I’m not used too... yet. Minor inconveniences, not a deal breaker. It is more cumbersome to transport as it doesn’t stay closed when folded like my Invacare did. Again minor annoyance, not a deal breaker. Unit seems sturdy as does seat. The larger wheels are a must! It’s hard to rave about a walker because whose excited about needing a walker? But it helps and makes daily life much easier! I have Multiple Sclerosis and fatigue easily so the seat is a godsend! Reference for height and seat size pictures attached, I’m 5’4 and 165 lbs.
