I read all of the reviews and decided to give these a try. I have used hot rollers off an on for years and after trying to grow my hair longer this year found I need something to give my hair some "oomph" or more body. I have fine hair, but a lot of it, and it tends to go flat and not hold a curl unless with a lot of hair spray or product. The rollers seem to heat up quickly, though mine did take a bit longer than advertised. I gave it a good 10 minutes before rolling. It is nice that they have a power light to show they are on, but what would be helpful is a light to show when they are fully heated and ready to use. I didn't have any trouble taking them out, the clips are attached and you just lift them out, then remove the clip and roll. There is a slit in the center of the roller and when you are done you just put the clip back on and line the slit up and slide them down. I did have a little bit of trouble the second time, but it is not a big deal. I really liked these and they were easy to use and stayed attached to my hair. When I took them out I ran my fingers through my hair and did not spray to see how they would hold. I got a lot of body that held without hair spray. These may not be the best choice if you are looking for a lot of tight curls, but great for loose curls and body.
