This is a pretty basic thermometer with only 3 features that I feel are worth mentioning. Here they are : 1. FAST. This thermometer is lighting fast! It's advertised as being able to take your temperature in 10 second, which is mostly accurate but can depend. It definitely takes it in under 20 seconds tho, and thank goodness compared to my old thermometer that was like 23 years old, it doesn't take 5 minutes. 2. Flexible. The tip on this thermometer is flexible and can be bent. Its not stiff where you have to be afraid that it's going to break easily in your mouth like the old glass thermometers that contained mercury. 3. Recalls last temperature. Whenever the thermometer is turned on, it will automatically recall whatever the last temperature on it taken was. This is good of you are monitoring your temperature and want to know if it is lower or higher than before. According to the listing, this thermometer can be used orally, rectally, or under the underarm. I feel like the most accurate reading is when taken orally, as long as you haven't drank any liquids in the past 20 minutes that could change your mouth temp. Overall, this is an excellent product with zero flaws, basic features, and consistent temperature readings.
