Stop the bashing
Lets start with some common sense and realize everyone should have more than one book so they can have better reference. I have looked through and read and own a number of edible plant books and this one is not that bad. It comes with decent pictures and a lot of local plants of the Northeastern that are very common and pretty easy to identify. This book homes with a section on poison plants as well granted it don't show them all but again you should have a second reference book to make sure you know which poisonous plants are out there / The look-a-likes. I received this book today and have read through the whole thing already. I believe it's a pretty good book definitely better than a lot of other ones I've read.
