I have been using this unit for over a year now on my Suzuki V-Strom without a problem. I've even did 30 miles of bumpy fire roads and my Motorola Atrix was solid. Don't get me wrong, I did keep my eye on it just in case. I commute with my bike and have had this mount installed the entire time and it has held up well to high heat, below freezing temps, and lots of Seattle rain. I thought the "bungie" straps would have gone bad by now but they are still in perfect working order. This is a great alternative to the RAM mount solution at a fraction of the cost.
