In order to get out of the using plastic grocery bags for scooped poo, I decided to try this. Here are my observations: The grey & black is actually a dark grey and shiny black and is attractive looking. It comes with it's own scoop. A little holder sits in slots located inside the rim of the genie. The scoop that comes with it is only slightly better than the dollar store brands. It's plastic with a hollow plastic handle. It sits perfectly inside the holder. It comes with one pack of "trash bags" and the directions are fairly simple on how to place inside the unit. You tie a knot in the bottom of the bag, then fill it up with the scooped poo. After the bag is full, you will cut the bag (cutter inside) and tie it off and dispose of it. You then tie a new bag and start over. The size is small compared to my litterbox-see pics. Great for small areas. I just had another scooper break and though this one came with it's own, I wanted something with some heft that wouldn't bend or break.So I purchased: Sifter with Deep Shovel - Designed by Cat Owners - Teflon Coated and Solid Aluminum. It's very sturdy, has a solid handle, is slightly longer, and the scoop part is coated with teflon so that things do not stick. My cat has some heavy, hefty pee clumps and this will do the trick. It came with a wall holder, but it fits inside the genie scoop holder (it is taller than the scoop that comes with it and you can see the handle over the top. The scoop part is also slightly wider, but I don't see that being an issue. (See pic)
