Did your parent's ever put a mountain of mothballs in their car and then ask you to drive it? Sure, they meant well. They're elderly and moth balls are a staple from their world. However, mothballs are noxious. Especially in a 240 degree SUV under the Texas sun. When I say noxious, I mean they stink. Real bad. And when they spend two weeks in a mid-size SUV, it's kinda like they reached puberty and really threw on the stink. Then, the bouquet seeps into every bit of fabric, the seats, the carpet, the headliner. It attaches itself to all the plastic bits like the dashboard and door panels. But the best part is that it gets in the vents. Wow, that's going to leave you driving that car pool all by yourself. It was that bad. I had it professionally cleaned and de-odorized. Cost me over $200. They gave me a refund because it was guaranteed to work. Then I placed about 800 boxes and baking soda in there. Turns out moth balls and baking soda went to the prom together, nothing good came from that application. Then, I saw these things on Amazon. I don't like natural remedies, they never work. Never. But, I was desperate. No one would stop next to me at a traffic light. It took two of the big ones, freshened with an all day charge in the sun, but that SUV smells better than Mama's butter cookies now. Buy them. Use them. Charge them in the sun. Love them.
