Not bad, but beware that it only includes one battery
This drill/driver provides adequate torque (300lb vs the typical 400-450lb of a comparable 18v/20v drill/driver), and it's sufficient for the homeowner who plans to use it quite sparingly. Despite B&D being not considered seriously among contractors, they actually build decent stuff- after all, they're the parent company of DeWalt. If you consider that it's current price is only $59, it's a very good value- but there's one glaring problem. It only includes one battery, which means your projects are forced to a screeching halt while you wait out the recharge period (unless you happen to have multiple drills, like me). This can be extremely frustrating. My advice would be to spend the extra $40 or so on something like the Dewalt 18v drill with two batteries- a workhorse that will let you drive screws all day, for just a few bucks more. However, if you're on a tight budget and only plan to use the drill every now and again, this is a great choice at $59, particularly considering that it includes a variety of useful bits, saving you even more money.
