Very Nice lightweight unit with Decent Capacity
I bought this for my RV when I am in boon-docking situations. Really I was just hoping that it could run my 32" Samsung TV for a few hours. I did a test and it ran it for 4 Hours and 55 Minutes with the factory settings and with wifi enabled with the volume turned up to a decent audio level. The TV is rated at 32 watts. I am sure i could stretch maybe 6 hours out of the Flashfish if I disable all the smart TV functions, dimmed the display a bit and put the volume on low. Another day passed and I tested on a laptop that has a 135 watt draw and it powered it from full discharge to full charge with the Flashfish still showing 100% charge. I am sure I could get 3 or 4 charges out of it. For the money the Flashfish seems to be a well built unit, and I like that it comes with a separate charging brick. The form factor is nice along with the sturdy carry handle. It should be able to be stowed away in small cubbyholes. The Brick gets quite warm when wall charging, but not hot. While charging the Flashfish unit itself stays nice and cool. This unit is really quiet and I never heard the cooling fan kick on. I am sure it does on high loads. But drawing 32 watts from it for the TV never triggered the fan. Which should maximize the battery. I used my money to buy this unit, and did lots of research, since there is such a wide variety of these solar generators available. I opted for a 3 year warranty as I have no experience with this brand or any of the others. I hope the reliability is good and I don't need to file a claim. Now just need the weather to get warm and get some real camping tests in. As a added side note, the little usb light is really nice, way brighter than I expected and I am sure it would last a few days. The included cables also seem to be of good quality, Although it would be nice if they came in a small pouch. For the money I am not disappointed. *Update 7/2022 Still working and no issues to report. I don't use it as much as I envisioned due to going full solar in my RV. But when I do pull it down from the shelf it fires right up and goes to work. It has come in handy a few times due to losing power from storms at home. It also holds a charge forever (many months) which makes it a great emergency backup.
