Worked as described.......I looked at the website and this product is citric acid and not a mixture of citric acid and bleach......I did not want to damage the rubber components in the toilet tank with bleach. Citric acid works by chelation, it binds to the iron ...changing it's chemical composition....The amount of chelating agent you need to use depends on how much Iron is in your tank. I poured in about 1/4 the bottle in each tank and stirred the water with a serving spoon. I checked back in an hour and stirred again...in about 2 hours I checked and my toilet tanks were clean....flushed a few times and I was done. Citric acid also dissolves lime (a base)...so this will help clean the lime scale in the tubes the water flows in from the tank to the toilet bowl
