Whether you are using a razor or an electric shaver, this Williams Lectric Shave helps make for one of the smoothest, cleanest, and closest shaves I have had in years. It makes my stubble stand up so the shave is easier to cut and gives me a smoother and closer shave. Also, when using an electric shaver, my face sometimes is sticky or clammy which makes it harder to glide my shaver over the surface of my face and neck. This liquid helps for that as well. Just apply generously on your face and shave 20 seconds later for the best results. I have been using this product for over 40 years with no complaints. Except that it used to come with a nice lemon scent which I guess was discontinued some time ago. Also, wash your face thoroughly with soap afterward to get all those oils off of your skin. Overall, I like this product and must use it before every shave. Note: This is not a soapy lather for shaving smoothness, it's more like an alcohol-type based liquid that helps stubble stand up better for the shaving process.
