Best showerhead on earth. Really.
I searched for this showerhead for a long time, after years of putting up with the cheap junk they sell at Home Depot, Lowes, target, and so forth. Our water has heavy mineral deposits, so I was looking for a showerhead without the bells and whistles. No rotating heads, no so-called shower massagers, just a great handheld metal showerhead that delivers all the meager water pressure we have.
I’ve been using it over a year now, and I still feel a certain amount of amazement every time I use it. Other showerheads would clog within a few months and after a years time they would just be drizzling a fraction their original pressure. This one is still going strong as the first day I put it in. It’s easy to hold, and it delivers a medium wide pattern that gets the soap out of your hair quickly rinses you off.
The hose is metal, and it’s the best hose I have ever seen. It relaxes without any kinks, is long enough to reach anywhere, and never feels like it’s in the way or restricting you. Honestly, I’ve never seen a hose that is so relaxed and free of tension. And, most importantly, it’s all metal. If you believe as I do that a showerhead’s job is to spray water on the person taking a shower, this metal, handheld design will not disappoint. There are no knobs, no collars to rotate or to get unstuck, and no internal machinery to get clogged up with mineral deposits. It is strong, lightweight, and looks very nice. Best of all, it delivers a powerful spray utilizing all the pressure that our meager well can pump. I’m considering buying another to have on hand in case this one ever clogs up, but so far it shows no signs of ever slowing down.
After years of putting up with junk, I finally have a world-class shower. This is it, folks. If you’re tired of buying a showerhead every few years, tired of big clunky sprayers with dials that get stuck and clogged with mineral deposits, tired of plastic, tired of kinked hoses, and tired of imitation chrome-like finish, this is your answer.
PS: I also bought an in-line rotary valve to go between the shower pipe and the metal hose for when I want to turn off the flow without changing my heat settings. It’s stainless steel and very subtle. You don’t notice that it’s there until you look for it. Shouldn’t be too hard to find.
