Had it a week; so far so good. I've had many cheaper ($150) fountains and they were not very good. I am very impressed with this one. Here is why.. 1) Water-fall is powerful, strong stream, strong motor. 2) LED lights are awesome; tiny little lights built into rocks, no big bulbs to change. 3) Easy to assemble, connect the hose (very simple) and plug it in. Best cleaner believe it or not is white distilled vinegar. Have tried all of the "algae cleaners" over the years, nothing is better than distilled vinegar. Only need a cup once a week, no algae. I can't say enough good things about this fountain. One of my best amazon purchases ever.
