WOW! I have been painting my own house(s) for years. This house has about +-3500 feet of surface area desperately needing paint. After working a few days and seeming like I was getting nowhere between prep, priming with a "cheaper" tinted paint then using a high quality latex paint as a final coat, I broke down and purchased this sprayer. The vast majority of the reviews I read pointed to this Graco model and I can see why. This has CHANGED the way I will paint from now on. I've never used a sprayer before and within 20 minutes, I was spraying away. This is so easy, I can only kick myself for not doing it sooner. Finished off about half of the house in the first hour or so. The biggest issue was having to move the sprayer, as I was going so fast. There's a learning curve, as in it took a few passes at my "practice" wall until I got the pressure right and the angle of the hand down so the paint is applied evenly, BUT no big deal. After drying, the paint looks fantastic! I even sprayed an external door and it looks perfect! Day 2- After tightly securing the suction hose/drain/paint with plastic wrap as the instructions say for overnight storage, I went out this morning and it started up and is working perfectly. It puts a lot of paint down, so I finished the rest of the house in about 3 hours. Hours not days. Hours of my life not spent painting. To make this sprayer easy to move around, I put the sprayer and the 5 gallon paint bucket on a furniture moving dolly. It's a lot easier moving it around. UPDATE October 25 2016: Tried to get the unit started after being stored, as they recommended and it wouldn't prime. Called Graco and the service person had me check the inlet and outlet valve wasn't working. With no hesitation, he said he'd send the parts to me, at no charge. 4 days later went to install the new parts and it still won't prime. Called Graco and the service person listened to the story and asked me to hold on. He came back, apologised for the inconvenience and said they'd replace the unit!!! I'm impressed, exceptional customer service!
