Let me start by saying that I sweat...profusely. It stinks...bad. I have used every deodorant imaginable. I don't even mess around with women's deodorant because they don't touch the odor when I get to sweating. I have worn every brand of men's deodorant out there. Some "work" better than others but after a long, hot day I stink. And it's a mix of stinky pit odor and some kind of manly scent lingering too. It's awful & sometimes embarrassing. Well, I began to get very sore under my armpits with deodorant. I couldn't wait to get home and wash my pits with a washcloth they would sting, burn, and itch so bad. I decided to try a clinical deodorant and that made it worse. I saw advertisements on FB about Scmidts and all the good reviews. I had nothing left to lose, however I thought I was going to be throwing away $10 on this. Let me tell you...this stuff is a little miracle...WOW. The cedarwood was not my first choice of scent but it was the only one available. It smells like a cedar chest, which if your like me brings back really good memories of my grandmothers house and the chest she stored her quilts in :) it is not over powering at all. The best part is at the end of a hot day I truly don't smell...like at all. I couldn't believe it. I have put this stuff through several 95 degree days gardening outside and it's amazing. I also don't have the burning and itching with other deodorants. I won't be going back to anything but Schmidts and I can't wait to try a different smell!!
