Great SAO game and F2P friendly
TLDR: If you like SAO give it a shot it's a great and addicting game I've played the game for over a year on Android. If you are an SAO fan you will likely enjoy it. It is a Gacha game though so be prepared to not always get who you want, but as a F2P player I'm very happy with how they do things they frequently give away free characters (they aren't great but for starting out it is a help) and the first pull is almost always half off or more, they occasionally have guaranteed 6 star pulls, and they are generous with giving out MD (currency used for pulling characters) you can typically make 1-3 pulls per banner (if you take advantage of the discounted first pulls) . As a purely F2P I can typically get in the top 20 in the ranked events, if I put more effort into practicing how to parry I could likely get into the lower teens for rankings. If you are very competitive and always want to be in top 10 you likely will have to drop cash, but for casual fun F2P is fine. You can do all the story content F2P and all event content there are no paywalls, though how fast/well you do will depend on the characters and gear you pull. One of the things I like about the game's F2P model is paying players don't get a massive advantage over anyone. They can get more pulls so yes they are likely to get more characters and they can get more higher level characters through limit breaking (getting dup character allows you to use increase max level), but that doesn't guarantee them any rankings they still need some skill to do well in ranking. They are always going to have an advantage, and they should because without them there wouldn't be a game for the rest of us, but the important thing (to me) is that the advantage isn't so high it is insurmountable by skill, time, and luck and that no content is locked out by a paywall. Overall I highly recommend the game. BUGS: On my Kindle the game does occasionally crash to the Kindle home screen randomly and restart when I bring it back up. This can get very annoying if it happens during the higher levels of the floor clearing event (because it counts as giving up the match) , when you are doing a character scout, or on the screen to use event items for a pull as in both cases there is no way to easily see why you got. It isn't horrible or frequent, but it is annoying. Also, I never had this issue when I played on Android only Kindle.
