I have been spraying paint in some form for 2 decades. From straight air to HPLV and all in between. Picked up this gun to shoot some walls and doors in my condo. I was worried about the quality as the price was good. I am used to my air guns but bringing the large compressor was not an option. This gun is very good BUT... you need to take a few moments to work on set up. Once you have set up down spray a few test boards. Also dial down the paint flow and dial up the air flow. Slowly increase paint flow and decrease air flow until you hit the "sweet spot". I painted two interior doors and they came out flawless, once the set up was complete. One more tip, when you first press the trigger aim into an empty bucket. This will get the paint flowing and avoid a splotchy start to the job. Do this each time you pull the trigger after stopping. Great Tool. Highly recommended.
