The standard oops my finger slipped from the mandolin holder and my right ring finger tip was cut off in a circle about 1/4" no bone showing! Man oh man the blood was just pouring out! I am a first responder so unless its broken, blood spurting out or on fire I will first aid myself! At first I held gauze on it and of course above my head for 15mins, the gauze soaked thru with blood so I changed it and held it over my head again to no avail! So I went to Walgreens because I remember seeing this product by the register. When I got home I removed the gauze which was soaked thru again and poured 1/2 a pack on the wound and pressed down. It stopped 80% of the bleeding so I poured the rest on the spots that blood was leaking thru and applied pressure again. Lo and behold the bleeding had stopped. It looked like cement on the tip of my finger! It has been almost a week and most of the power has fallen off but where the wound is it is still holding fast, its waterproof also, took a shower no problem! I just put a Band-Aid on it for protection so it does not get caught on some thing and pull it off! In another week I will soak it in saline solution as the instruction indicate to remove it and see how the wound is! Excellent product! I will try and post pics! WoundSeal Powder, 4 ea
