I purchased this on kickstarter. I love nitro cold brew but couldn't afford to keep buying it from coffee shops for $4++ a cup. This system works great and saves a lot of money! The N0₂ canisters (NOTE: NOT N₂ Canisters!) cost ~$3 each and charge 50oz of coffee, which is about four 12oz servings. So $3 + the cost of 2 cups of ground coffee means huge savings vs. ~$16+ in a coffee shop! It also means you can use any coffee bean you want. It is easy to make the cold brew inside the ukeg with the included filter bags and then charge it the next morning, but a cheaper way to do it is to make cold brew coffee with cold water in a french press in the fridge overnight and then add it to the ukeg to charge and dispense it. As you can see in the video, it comes out smooth and delicious. Coffee prepared this way has a much less bitter taste and I don't feel the need to add any milk or sugar to it, so it's actually healthier too!
