Solid cleaner & wipe comparison
I just purchased these along with the CareTouch brand to have a box at home and one in the office. I also had a few Zeiss packs left too and decided to do a comparison test. Right off the bat let me say all three worked just fine and I'd be happy with any one of them for regular glasses cleaning. Here are the differences I did observe. Nikon - This was both the thickest and least moist by feel compared to the other two. The wipe also has more of a texture to it that I feel like would help if you have to clean something really dirty. Zeiss - This one was squarely in the middle. Felt moister than the Nikon but less so than the CareTouch. It was not as thick as the Nikon but thicker than the CareTouch. It was also fairly smooth compared to the Nikon. CareTouch - This towel was the thinnest of the lot and felt softer as well. It also felt more moist. As I stated at the beginning they all did great cleaning lightly soiled glasses. They all dried streak free. I think they probably all have about the same amount of cleaner but the thickness of the wipes affects the perception of which is wetter. I think if I routinely had to clean lenses that were really dirty I'd go with the Nikon and the textured wipe. If I was trying to clean multiple items that were barely dirty I'd go with the CareTouch.
