I've read Nash's book twice now. The first time through, the text raised all my "this is a scam" red flags. I highly recommend the reader first check out Bob Murphy's (free, downloadable) essay on Nash's IBS, then this book, the Murphy & Lara's larger book on this subject. Then I recommend listening to the "Dollars & Nonsense Podcast", all of them. Infinite Banking sounds like it's too good to be true, but it is not. This is not a get-rich-quick scheme. IBS requires time, discipline, and self restraint, or a damned good financial planner/insurance agent/attorney. This strategy will facilitate personally financing every major purchase a person needs to make in their entire life, and will leave their beneficiaries massive wealth afterwards. It is an inter-generational wealth building mechanism, if managed correctly.
