Love this kettle. Large capacity and very sturdy. I have a gas stovetop and the bottom of this kettle is perfectly wide enough so I can put the burner on high without worrying about flames going around and up the kettle sides. The push button lever action works easily and the connection to the pour spout is always solid. It empties completely so the inside drys fast without any residue. The opening is large so it's easy to fill and the lid makes a tight connection so no steam escapes. The whistle makes the perfect sound in my opinion. It's not loud, yet I can hear it anywhere in my very large house. The tone is pleasant to the ear and not at all annoying like most others. I'm not crazy about the infusers for 2 reasons. I like a strong cup of tea, and these would not hold enough for me once the tea expanded while steeping. Also they open easily but I find it quite difficult to to get them back together. They do however come with a silicone piece to place them on after removing them from the cup. Now for the best feature... the handle. The description does not lie when it says it will be cool. The instructions tell you to wait a bit after turning the heat off before handling it and the longer it was boiling the longer the wait time. I have let it boil up to 4 minutes and have never had to wait at all. I turn the flame off and pick it up. It's warm yes, not never even close to hot. I have read the negative reviews and it seems most of them are due to issues I have found to be the opposite or the spout mechanism breaking after a couple of months. When you get the kettle then go to their website to register it, they give you a 1 year warranty. I have only had this kettle for a short time so if I ever have any bad issues I will update this review.
