AWESOME BENCH! I researched storage benches online and ultimately decided on this for the espresso looking bench and it was the best price. The darker espresso plastic color makes the bench look more contemporary and wood-like than lighter colors. It cost a little more than a tan plastic but it worth it. Also I opted for the plastics vs wicker or wood because it will hold up better in all climate and easy to wipe off dirt if needed. We bought it for our apartment balcony to get storage for sports equipment and my gardening supplies but also added seating next to our bistro table. We even were able to fit a full size broom inside it! It probably took my husband 30-40 minutes or so to put together. Very solid bench and surprisingly comfortable even for my 6'2" husband to sit on. It's unbelievable the storage space it has but I wouldn't put too much weight in it simply because the storage base liner for the storage part doesn't seem super sturdy. Although, I put basketball, football, volleyball, Frisbee, extra plant pots, watering can, broom, smaller bag of soil, and gardening tools in there which has held up well. I just wouldn't suggest heavier items like toolboxes, etc.to go in there. Would recommend to EVERYONE! The bench fits two adults comfortably and probably could fit 2 adults & a kid on it if desired.
